A little bit of history...
The Dartmouth Arms takes its name from The Earl of Dartmouth whose estate it lay within. Nearby Patshull Hall - a mid-18th century Baroque house, set amid acres of Capability Brown landscaped gardens was the home of the Earls of Dartmouth up until the death of the 7th Earl in 1958.
